Default Clunking

I have a 2002 Blazer with an automatic transmission and a few weeks ago my wife accidently turned the key over after it had already been started. It will still start fine but after its been started it clunks for awhile and will also clunk when right before it shifts gears. I thought it may be the gears on the flywheel. Any help before i send it in to the shop to have it fixed?

sounds like the bolts got damaged on the flywheel that hold either the converter or the flywheel to the motor.

Best to pull the inspection plate and take a look in there.

Check the bolts and the flywheel teeth.

Thats another thing that i've been told. To add on to problems, it loses ALOT of power uphills (im thinking MAF sensor is dirty) and last night the rpm stayed at zero until i parked it and started going again

Well I took it to a local transmission shop and found that the transmission and flywheel had no problems and that it was only the catalytic converter. They cut it off and put a straight pipe on it and charged only $55

Has no inspection plate to remove, since the housing is fuly enclosed. The only way to inspect would be to remove the starter and turn the engine over and look for damage.
