Default Convert to a 5 speed?

I apologize if this is a stupid question, however, I just don't know the answer.

i have a 2000 4 door Blazer, and would love to get it into a 5 speed configuration. Is this possible, and how hard would it be if doing it yourself? Assuming money is no issue. Thanks!

It would be very difficult for anyone to do, and much more cost effective to simply buy a different vehicle.

My brother did it on his 2003 Crew Cab S10. Easiest way is to have a donor vehicle sitting right beside and swap parts across. It will require swapping the ECM, and maybe flashing the ECM with your VIN, depending on the year of your donor. I'd suggest a donor 2 door Blazer in the 1998-2001 year range if possible, so it will match production models with yours.

I'm not sure how much it cost him, and time depends very much on your fabrication and mechanical abilities.

Sounds like a huge pain. Probably worth it to just find a cheap 5 speed
