Default Coolant leak/ heat blower stuck

My 99 Blazer has a coolant leak but we cannot find the source of it. We checked the oil its fine not gray or foamy white at all. No oil on rad cap either. No steam coming from exhaust. Then when we checked coolant next day it was fine. Now its minus 35 celcius outside and the heater blower mysteriously stopped working. My husband hit the dash after letting it run for an hour or so and it popped back on. Was it frozen? Do we need a new radiator cap too? Could the seal be gone on the cap? What could be causing either issue any ideas? Today my husband was driving our blazer when all of a sudden it just died. Right in the middle of the highway. Took it too mechanic he put new battery terminal on said the other was corroded off. Now our blazer is going back into the shop for more work. Just replaced the master cylinder on clutch. Wtf is happening to myBlazer?
