Arrow Coolant level?

Periodically I open the radiator cap to check the coolant level. The clear plastic coolant tank is useless.
It is always low when i check it, (can't see any coolant).
It never reads too hot according to the temp gauge.
My question, is this normal?
I don't see any leaks of any kind...

Thanks. JB

No, it is not normal for the coolant level to drop. That is an indication that you are loosing coolant somewhere. If you haven't ever replaced the radiator cap, I would do that first & foremost as it is solely responsible for maintaining pressure in a properly sealed system. You can also have your system pressure tested (or test it yourself) to check for leaks. If you apply 16psi to the system (cap rated pressure) and it slowly bleeds down to nothing, you have a leak.

I'll have to check it.
I'll Google and see what pops up.
Thanks.

if your coolant level gets low, and its not leaking anywhere, you must be burning it...
(intake manifold gaskets)
