Default Couple evap questions

OK so after replacing my fuel pump and cleaning my egr valve the 95 is running great. And if anyone needs to know it is a 95 with obdII. Now the truck is running better than it ever has but I still have a code and ses light. I need to verify (friday with the scanner) but it WAS the P0441, wrong purge flow detected. Now here is some info. Lately when I unplug the line from the vapor canister behind the left rear tire that goes to the tank (bottom line on that block on the canister) there is raw fuel in there. Quite a bit lately. Haven't overfilled the truck (actually haven't even filled it fully in months, $$$, mostly comes close) I've dropped the tank a bunch of times in the last two months before replacing the pump. Now I know the line from the tank to the canister is open (I can blow through it) but think the canister might be kissed having that fuel in there. Will be dropping it Friday to see if it is fully blocked and causing the code. All solenoids and valves have already been replaced. Like i said the truck is running great. Just want to get rid of the ses and the code. SO vapor canister??? yes or where else.

Also my purge valve is NOT located on the crossmember. Mine is mounted on the driver side of the plenum just inline behind the purge solenoid. I've only seen a few in the junkyard with this setup. Prob because it's the OBDII???? Anyway. Reason I state that is there are two vents on my tank one at the front that goes to the vapor canister. But there is also one on the back behind the pump. Now this one, since I got the truck has not had a tube hooked up to it. Actually the tube is broken off. But the valve is there. I would think this would go to the vent valve but it's not back there. It's in the engine. So where does this one go? also it has been like that since I got the truck but has NOT caused a problem, so this is just curious info for me.

Gonna prob replace the vapor canister this friday if it is clogged. To see if that clears the code. But again, the truck is running better than it EVER has even with this code.

I'm not too familiar with that setup but replacing the canister would be a good idea, especially if the charcoal inside is damp with fuel.
