cutting off

Default cutting off

i have a 93 s10 blazer it is fuel injected. after driving for about 30-45 mins it will cut of just like you turned of the switch. the first time it did this i call to get it towed. after sitting for about an hour it started up and i drove it onto
the trailer. any ideas

I would check the fuel pressure and leak down.
KOEO (Key on Engine off) the pressure should be 60-62psi and should not drop below 55psi in 10 minutes.
Post back with the results.

either pump,spider or coil...


im thinking towards coil....when they heat up..its a turn key off like issue. If its not that,,,your screwed into pump or spider.

pump is 60 bucks (ac delco via rockauto,go anything else you WILL have issues)
spider 135 after shipping. its under the manifold. they are bad for leaking...

do a fuel pressure test like rich said....one at the engine...if reads below 58,check at pump. if pump hits 60+ pumps good. pressure drops at the manifold,spiders bad.
