I'd be wary of putting the Seafoam in the gas tank. If it's anything like GM Top Engine Cleaner, it may kill your pump. Or I could just be trippin. I Seafoamed(vacuum line and gas tank) my '01 and about a week or so later, my year old fuel pump died.

Well I just bought some Sea Doam tiday. Haven't put it in yet. I'll have to check on the gas tank thing some more. Thanks for the heads=up. I have practiced pulling the tank because of pump ossies enough.

personally, i would never put it in my tank or my oil. i mean, its a solvent... that cant be good mixed in the oil... and i have visions of fuel pump issues & clogged fuel filters dancing in my head.

vacuum booster line, i have no problem though.

But maybe thats just me being a paranoid skitzooooo......

Yes, it's solvent. That's the idea for cleaning up your engine. You have to chamge the oil soon after you put it on thoigh. The stuff is also supposed to absorb moisture from your fuel system and clean the lines and injectors to restore good spray pattern. At 185,000 miles, I'm gonna roll the dice.

anyone got a pic of the brake booster cable where the sea foam can get sucked through ? (i just bought the car ) lol
i know its safe to put in(i'm using it) , you might get slight valve knock but the ping sensor should straighten that out after a short trip,

i put a 1/3rd in a full tank (read the label you might need more)
1/3rd let the engine suck it in through the upper intake manifold
( or the brake booster cable ) never done it on this car ....
1/3rd in the engine oil (i recommend not driving the car with this in the oil)

after doing seafoam through the engine oil , or the brake booster ,
change oil right after your exhaust quits smoking cause ,oil will be black and thin ...

if someone can show me on pic or explain where the brake booster cable is
id be willing to do a how to on this as well

I have been using a Seafoam fuel gas additive on occasion and it works well. It comes in a 12 oz can. Are you suggesting that can be added directly into the brake booster line. I assume you are drawing it into the intake manifold so you clean that out? Not sure if I understand that since the pluged fuel system/spider would benifit from in coming in through the fuel system? Please clarify. Thanks.
