Delay going into drive

Delay going into drive
Hi all I am new here I have a chevy blazer 1999 4.3 with 4L60E transmission. It has a few seconds delay before engaging drive it engages all other gears perfect and works ok once engaged. Does anyone have any suggestions as live in the UK so parts arnt easy to come by. Also sometimes needs to re engage drive after stopping at a junction
