Default Differneces between the VIN W and VIN Z 4.3

Looking to rebuild my 4.3 Vin w on a 94 Blazer 4X4 and was wondering if there was a differnece between the internal parts on the VIN W & Z. I know one is TBI I believe is that the only difference?

______LE8_____8 cyl. 7.4L (454 c.i.d.)
W
______L35_____6 cyl. 4.3L (262 c.i.d.) CPI

OR

______LF9_____8 cyl. 5.7L (350 c.i.d.) diesel
Z
______?_______? cyl. 4.3L (263 c.i.d.) EFI

* i think Z swings both ways. It should be a 6 cyl. BUT if you get it drunk enough...

Hope that helps some.

The cam will be different due to the different induction setups. The heads should be almost the same. You may want too look at how all of the accessories mount up because there may be differences there as well.

Do a google search for Rebuilding the 262 by Doug Anderson (or is it Andersen?) and read it all. That article is great for information on the early 4.3L v6.
