I bought a Borg Warner cap and rotor from advance auto parts around 2 months go and it has been working fine for me. They are around $10 more but come with a lifetime warranty.

I prefer the Napa Echlin brand of ignition components. Never had one fail on me due to manufacturing defects.

There is only one brand for G.M. trucks.....it's AC DELCO!.....LOL
I'm not saying the others are bad guys...I just never use them because I KNOW Delco will perform the way I need it to.

I make sure it has brass points. It seems to help fight corrosion better.
