Hey guys, well the little keyless entry remote on my 94 S15 broke so I've been using the key to unlock my truck lately. But on really cold/frosty mornings, the damn locks freeze up! Yesterday, I wasn't even able to fit the key in all the way, so I had to crawl in through the tailgate since that was the only lock that opened (pass. door was frozen up too). This morning, I was able to get the key in but I had to turn it REALLY hard to get it to unlock. How can I prevent this?

spray ice melt in there or some wd-40 that should remove the water that is causing it to freeze

spray WD-40 in it.
don't use any of those silicone lubes, they have a nasty habit of gumming up the cylinder. if you use lock de-icer, make sure you spray in some WD soon after, otherwise your locks will freeze up even easier.
