Default Engine light! Code to come hopefully this friday.

So as I said I'm throwing a code. I'm pretty sure it's the one I got every now and then last winter, running rich on bank 2. The past couple of days now at low rpms its been bogging, feels like too much fuel.

When I get it scanned and figure out the code, assuming it is what I'm sure it is, what's the best way to go about fixing it? A power programmer and just reducing the amount of fuel going to bank 2?

Input please!

I feel kinda bad posting without the code, but I promise I'll have it.

Update:

This morning called to book my appointment at the dealer to finally get this straight, well today I went to merge into traffic, truck got both tires screaming and I had all my original power back, and then some.

Engine light gone!? It's exactly the same thing I was getting last winter (engine light +low end bog) and it would only happen after damp days, on Monday it rained, and yesterday it was humid as all hell.

I remember the scanner throwing a "Running rich on Bank 2", but I don't remember the code.

Once I find the code (when it comes back) and solve it I'll for sure have to post up a solution for others with my problem.

Hhmm, on damp days, you say? Have you checked the little screens at the bottom of the distributor to make sure they're clean? It might be moisture accumulation.

get your truck scaned, the code will be in the history. why wait for another round of aggravation. be preventive, try and get to the root of it before it happens again.

I wasn't aware of a history, thanks for the heads up, I won't cancel my appointment then and I'll get them to check it out for me.
