Tony,

My blazer has this same issue. To answer you question, Yes there are 2 shift solenoids and A and a B. I replaced both of these and mine ran fine for about 100 miles then started up with the same problems. Dunno why tho which is why I am back here.

To change your solenoids you need to drop you transmission fluid pan. That is where they reside

Have you guys checked all your grounds on the vehicle....also try changing the speed sensor. That'll rule out computer control glitches.

Change out the tranny fluid for new fluid and put a bottle of Slick 50 tranny fluid treatment in it to thicken up the fluid/ increase pressure a little inside the tranny.

If you are really brave spend the $177 and get the tranny rebuild kit from Summit Racing and only drop your pan and replace the goodies/ seals for the valve body on the bottom of the trans. If yer brave. Make sure you put the little ***** inthe right spots.

u all need to check the trans fuse first in the fuse box. if there is no voltage on white wire side then ur ingtion switch is bad. check for votage first.
