Engine Swap 2001 engine into 1996

pretty sure the manifolds from 96 and 01 are different. Some of the newer 01 models didnt have an egr may have to swap it with the old manifold to keep everything straight with the computer

The change to the injection and EGR systems was sometime in '02 so he should be good there. I've worked on 2002 models that were both ways.

Everything went well. Between our work schedules and other life events, we were able to get two motors pulled, replace one and hook everything back up into the 1996 Blazer. Everything runs like a champ. We had an airbag light on when we were done and then it was because we realized we had pulled the fuse prior to starting.
So all in all a lot of work..learned some lessons and got a few cuts, scrapes and bruises.
