Ok my 95 blazer is just a dog when I try to take off from a light or stop sign. It moves ok under a lighter pedal but if I try to take off fast it has no go until you get to about 30 mph or so then it goes like it should. Any ideas as to what might make the truck do this? The truck does has a few miles on it. I just replaced the EGR valve and may have a small vacuum leak from it as the bolt holes have stripped out, it did do this before the EGR valve was replaced. I guess I am not sure what else to include. The tranny works great as far as shifting and such.

Thanks!
Paul

Have you tested the throttle position sensor? You may want to try to eliminate any vacuum leaks...

Does it run any better or worse if you disconnect the O2 sensor?

Whats the best way to test the throttle position sensor? I have not tried to unplug the O2 sensor but I will give it a shot.
