Has anyone tried that bottled fuel injector cleaner additive? Does it work? Can it potentially damage anything? What brand works the best?

Could dirty fuel injectors possibly be the cause of a cold start issue in cold weather?

 

I use it here and there, should probably use it more... I've noticed some difference.

 

I've used it and haven't noticed damage but used the BG44k on my sons truck and it helped a bunch.

We had an intake valve that was stuck open and by the end of the tank the misfire was almost gone. It now only misfires at idle so the code seldom pops up.
