Default Fuel line removal/suspected FPR problem

Hello! After searching through many topics and posts here and then watching a few videos online, I'm still stumped as to how to remove the fuel lines from my blazer.

1999 blazer 4 door 4x4

I have a set of metric crows foot wrenches. The 19mm fits on the nuts closer to the LIM bracket. The smaller nut is a mystery to me both in size and direction I should turn it. (looking at it from the front of the engine.) I would assume it would turn clockwise from this view point?

Can anyone here help? Thanks.

I just finished taking the plenum off and found that ports 1, 2 and 4 looked sooty as they should and the other three anf the rear of the intake were washed to a gold colour. I'm replacing it with a junk yard regulator and spider assembly(I'm on a tight budget) and hope it holds until next spring/summer. Thank you for the link to the write up. It help me out a lot!
