Fuel pressure ??

Ok so after corking off line and checking pressure I only have 48 psi and it did drop to 45 psi after sitting . Is it possible for it to leak back through the pump? But sounds like it does need a new fuel pump. Any recommendations on brand of pump? Oh and funny thing is it didn't leak down on first test. I'll just check everything on pump install.

Yes it can leak back through the pump. There is a check valve at the pump outlet. AC Delco or Delphi pump ONLY!!!

obviously yes maybe I did. I've seen multiple suggestions on this forum that go in 2 different directions so when you get the same answer 9 out of 10 posters it kind of swings you to the good side of the force?

That is precisely why I took the time to write the article. The specs and procedures are taken directly from the GM "dealer issue" shop manual.

Ok after a new Delphi pump and a little work I think all is well, thanks to you guys guiding me down the right path. Thanks to all who helped hope I can return the favor one day.
