Default Fuel pressure Regulater

Can i replace the fuel pressure regulater on a 95 blazer vin w its leaking on my spider injecter i tried taking the regulater off useing a torx bit but the bolt has a raised center to it that wont let the bit go in any idea's i really dont wanna spend a few hundred right now on a new spider injecter

You can get them from advance auto for $44. When I bought one, it came the bit and o-ring. Its from motormite part number 55162

You need a safety torx bit to remove the screws holding the FPR in.

I was able to remove mine by gripping it with a pair of plyers the screws are not very tight or you can get a bit set from Harbor Freight pretty cheep

I got the FPR from AutoZone - it's a Dorman/Help! part - and it came with the security torx bit.

cool thanks alot besides the regulator and the nut kit what other parts might i want to consider checking for leaks like i said money be a little tight right now thanks

That would be the extent of it unless the individual fuel lines out to the poppet nozzles were leaking.

Check out Lindertech.com. They have a kit that adapts the newer, more robust FPR from the 96+ engines for use in the CPI spider. Only requires a bit of modification to the CPI injector body.

i have to check my spider or regulator too because i found a little bit of fuel at the bottom of the intake. any tips on where exactly to look? thanks
