Default Fuel Pump?

I started my 2001 Chevy Blazer 2dr LS 6cyliner 2.4 liter truck and it started fine. When i got home I shut it off and when I went to start it a little while later it just kept turning over. the fuel pump isn't humming or anything, none of the fuses are blown. What do you think it could be, is the pump shot?

2 easy ways to check at home is spray starting fluid into your intake and crank the engine and see if it fires, though not really a full proof meathod as it could be a bad fuse or relay too.

or another thing is have someone crank the truck and you can lay underneath and beat on the tank with a big rubber hammer. do that a lot at work when cars wont start, youd be surprised how many times that jar's the pump enough to get it started.

also check to make sure you have gas, im working on a infiniti suv right now that reads 1/8th of a tank, just pulled the pump out and its completely empty
