i recently bought a 1995 blazer and had to put a motor in it
so i have a 1990 block from a asto van 4.3 and i can not
get it right i have a spider intake on top and a vortec
on the bottom what have i done wrong it will run but
i have a hesitation like it is not getting any gas so
i put a new fuel pump and filter in it what is wrong
does anybody know it is driving me crazy.

 

guys i still need some info for my 95 blazer so i can
take her muddn and see what she will do i need to
know if a block from a 90 astro and a spider will
line up with the ports not blocked if anybody can
help please blazer boys help

The spider W engine requires much more fuel pressure to run...

You should have used the astros block and heads, and put your old intake on that engine.
