There are so many threads on shifting problems. But my issue seems different. Its a 1997 blazer 4x4 LS. Its been shifting hard from 1st to 2nd since we got it up and running again(6months ago) Recently had a lot of electrical work done on it(Had no 5v reference). After that was fixed it would shift perfect SOMETIMES. Really random...it would shift hard when it was cold and hot...Just totally random. But now it Shifts reaaally hard from 1st to 2nd ALL THE TIME. It does depend on how hard I accelarate. If i really romp it it jerks to the point of a quick burn out. Also the 4x4 wont engage. DTC 1022(TPS) and 1406(EGR). I replaced TPS once. Are the 4x4 and hardshifting related?
