Hard Start Cold

im thinking this may be the starter but let me know what you all think. my 89 is really hard to get started when it is cold im talking cranking like 3 or 4 times, but after it has been running for awhile and is warm i can kill it and restart it with no problem. any ideas? thanks

I would start with a battery test and put a bottle of Iso-Heet in the gas tank to remove any moisture in the fuel systems.

ill try the iso heat but the battery is brand new.

My 88 did that for as long as I had it, I had to let it crank for about 4 seconds before it turned on and as you said once it warmed up no problems. I couldn't find the problem.
