Default head gasket or intake man?

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4.3 v6 vortec ls 160k 4x4. I am pretty confident I have a internal leak of some kind. It was over heat
ing after changing the radiator thermostat and water pump. I checked the oil fill cap and it had a caked up butter like residue. I found my oil to be way over the operating amount. Ive also been losing coolant and replacing it with no visible leaks. I used a bars leak nano technology head gssket sealant and got a oil change. My radiator is always trying to spit out gasses and eject the coolant when ran a little. I AM going to have to run this 2000 miles in 2 weeks and need to accomplish this myself. I'm confident down to the rockers where the intake gasket is. I'm not confident about having to replace a head gasket. I was going to have a shop check it out.and buying a manual Thoughts?
