not sure if this is the right section to post this in but can't see a separate cooling section,.


had a fair bit of trouble getting the heater core to work, last thing you want at this time of year.


tried flushing with both water and compressed air which gave heat for a couple of mins once reconnected.


in the end I cheated, with some extra bits of tube and a couple of reducers I reversed the flow through the core. Result, lasting hot air.


so I shall leave it that way and see what happens then give the cooling system a really good clean out when it warms up.

 

Glad you got it fixed. I can't imagine it being bad but my gut tells me to put it back as stock at the next opportunity. All that said, I can't give you a good reason for my suggestion. LOL

 

I plan to put it back the right way after a good clean of the whole system.


figure a few weeks of running the other way will clean out whatever is stopping it working the right way


should be warmer then for rolling around on cold concrete under a truck
