Default Heatercore replacement.

I have a 98 Blazer and i know the heatercore is shot. I have no heat in the cab and i get the coolant smell while the heat is on. The dexcool is causing a blockage. The coolant flush will come with the core replacement. My question is is there anyone out there who has a link that can show me an exploded view of the dashboard? A detailed instruction of how to replace it would be awsome. Many thanks in advance.

Default RE: Heatercore replacement.

you should without a doubt get the repair manual for this job. Its a very big job to do and will take a while, your going to have to remove the entire dashboard to access it. you might have to disconnect wiring harnesses and what not. Like I said your defenitly going to need the manual. To many little things and details.
