Default Help! Cylinder 3 misfire with all new stuff

Ok, I have a cylinder 3 misfire. Put new plugs ( AC Delco), wires, cap and rotor and even a new ignition distributor and fuel injector. After all this work it still has a misfire! What could be causing this? The oil level is a little high so I dont know if that could be doing it.

What is the color of the oil? Did the level get higher randomly, or did you do it?

you need to eliminate one thing at a time. plugs and wires are always good...but process of elimination really needs to be done. The injector needs to have a noide light put on it.doesnt matter how many injectors you put in if the computer isnt telling it to fire, shes not going to fire.. remember the 3 basic things a engine needs to run. fuel, ignition, and air. seeing the other 5 cyclinders are running good you can take air out of the equation. and yes did that oil level go up on its own or did you just over fill it.
Keep us informed

I had the same problem over the holidays. It turn out to be a bad injector, changed it and all is good.

I overfilled the oil, when cold the level is at the "hot" mark. Dont know what else to do. Timing chain is new as well, and a new fuel pump.

Its still missing. Been putting in fuel injector cleaner to try and maybe clean a sticky valve, this is fill up number three. Don't know what it could be!!!
