so i bought a 1996 blazer ls 4x4 4door for 700 with 180000 miles on it, when you get in and put it in drive it goes and then when it gets up to temp its like it goes into neutral. so i was told its the trans but the fluid doesnt smell burnt and there are no metal shavings in it, i was wondering if it was worth putin a shift solenid in it and new fuild with lucas and a new filter... or should just get a new trans?

not tryin to rush or anything but i really need some help here lol i cant afford to get a rebuilt trans. so its either an lkq trans for 100 buck or spend the money on shift solenoid thanks
