Exclamation Hesitation problems

I checked my spark plugs yesterday and they were filed out with a small amound of oil residue on them. So I changed all the spark plugs yesterday to AC Delco plugs and it seem to make getting up to speed worse. Also, I checked the oil yesterday and some dummy from the shop put 5 quarts of oil in it, it was way past the full line by alot! So i drained 1/2 a quart because my truck is supposed to have 4.5 quarts in it. Maybe that has something to do with the hesitation as well. Any ideas?

Did you gap the plugs? What was the truck doing before the plug swap?

Next thing to do would be clean your maf sensor. How old is your cap and rotor?

You can also disconnect the maf sensor and drive it to see if it helps. If it does it needs cleaned.
