hesitation when pushing on gas petal
Hello all,
I have a problem with my 1996 Blazer V6 Vortec. 2 wheel drive with 132,000 miles on it. So when I start the truck it takes about 10-15 seconds of cracking for it to start. Sometimes it may not start at all and I wait a couple hours and eventually it will start, although the last couple of weeks it has started every time but only after 10-15 seconds of cranking. Now after I let it warm up for about 5 minutes and I pull out onto the street as soon as I hit the gas it hesitates, bogs down, shakes, and acts like there is no gas in the truck. When it does this I take my foot of the gas and then hit the gas again and it runs fine and normal. When I come to a stop and then go again the same thing happens and I take my foot off and back on and again its fine and normal. Picks up fine and no hesitation after this. Basically its only when I go from a stop and after I do the gas petal thing its fine again. Has anyone else had this problem with their Blazer and if so what was wrong with it? Does anybody have any suggestions on what the problem could be? I want to fix it this weekend but clueless as to where to start. If you need anymore info please ask. Thanks in advance for all your help.
