Just got this 01 blazer and the petal comes almost all the way up before it engages witch makes me concernakis lol I had a older chevy either same nv3500 and the same thing but don't know if there's a fix for this or not?

 

Try bleeding it, but IMO if its not slipping just run it. If it bothers you enough it may be time to swap clutches. Just make sure you change the slave while you're in there.
