High Idle, and Misfire Questions
I have a 1995 chevy blazer 4wd...I was having troubles with it running and starting I couldent figure it out so I tore it down...it now has rebuilt heads, rebuilt upper and lower intake manifolds, new head, exhaust, and intake gaskets, new spider injectors, fuel hose repair kit, and fuel filter. A new distributer, cap and rotor, plugs and wires, oil pressure switch, coolant temp sensor, air filter, deleted the egr and a few other things...it now starts awesome but has a miss and a very high idle that dident happen until I drove it a few miles...I currently have the vacuum system tore apart looking for leaks, and im dead in the water I cannot figure out what my problem is and neither can anyone I have talked to....has anyone had this similar problem?

Check your TPS. I have an intermitent poor connection between the TPS and the harness connector. Not sure what to do about it just yet but at least I know what the problem is. Sounds just like your issue. Stick with the troubleshooting and the answer will eventually turn up.
