Default how do you clean out the engine after a bad intake gasket

98 bravada. 4.3 110,000 miles

kinda makes you hungry for soft serve ice cream

anyways whats a good way to get rid of all this mess? part of me just wants to dump a gallon of gas in there (and maybe a lit match too) to clean it out but not sure if thats gonna hurt anything. also what about the oil filter relocation lines? i figure im gonna have to run and flush it a few times as it is

doesnt look like oil got into the coolant tubes, if it did theres no evidence in the radiator, thermostat or heater core hoses

Ummm if it's out of the vehicle put it on an engine stand upsidedown & a few bottle of brake clean? Looks like pistacio icecream.
In the vehicle - tons of rags, plug all holes, brake clean & tons of patience!?
At least brake cleaner will evaporate really fast after disolving the nasties.
I'd Sea Foam it after it's installed/back together & running also, maybe use some Lucas Mucas when you add the oil.
