Default how to replace oil lines

I have a 95 blazer 4d 4x4 , my oil line blew apart where the metal line coming from the oil filter housing crimps on to the rubber line. i did buy the replacement line, i was reading how you have to jack up the motor and use a 3 foot ext with a swivel socket ?... not too sure where the other end of the line is, from what i can see it bolts next to the oil pan ?? idk everything is covered in oil ! and it is in a parking lot in the next town, so im going to be doing a parking lot job tomorrow, so if anyone can help with more specific instructions that would be great!! thanks so much.....

You do have to jack up the engine to get a good line to those bolts near the oil pan. Long socket extensions are needed, yes.
