I was really worried for a few days, because I had no heat in the truck, just cold air. After reading a few posts on here, I concluded that the heater core was not leaking, because the interior was not wet, and there weren't any leaks underneath the truck. I was really hoping not to have to change the heater core, as it is a pretty involved job, and expensive too. So I took it to my mechanic, and he flushed it out. All of the dirt and material that was clogging it came right out, and I have heat again. My advice to everyone here without heat, try flushing it out first before having to replace it.

How much did they charge you to flush the system? You could of flushed the system cheaper than what you might have paid them.......but atleast you have heat again.
