Default Iac valve problem

I pulled my IAC valve to give a good cleaning (alot carbon build up after 188500 miles and never an cleaning ), and while doing that I slightly on accident pushed on the pintle point and now its stuck in the down position, I didnt messing with it anymore, so i just put in all back together. Car seems to running better. Did i mess it up? Should the pintle been fully extend before I put it all back together? I already cleaned the trottle body and egr valve, this was last valve to clean. Just wondering if I messed it up what would be bad long to effects to the engine?

Any advice would help, car seems to start and run ok, could the pintle get unstuck after I put it back in and connect it up with the wiring. I did disconnect the battery so it can reprogram itself.

Pushing on the pintle won't screw it up. If it's running and starting ok now, the PCM just needed to adjust the position properly and now it's all set.
