Default Idle prob and power loss-

I have a 94 Blazer 4x4 w/ a 4.3 ltr V6, automatic. It idles very rough all the time, cold or warm. I have replaced the fuel filter and had some minor maintence done lately. Just fluids for the most part. Also when I take off from a dead stop I have major power loss and the engine seams to rev but the truck doesnt seem to get up and go. It acts like I am just barely stepping on the gas. I have new plugs for it, but I havent had time to install them. I havent checked the timing yet either. Oh, also when I start it, it cranks longer than most vehicles before it starts, but it always starts. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I just got out of the import scene and this issomething new to me. Thanks-

Default RE: Idle prob and power loss-

I was just having the same type of problems with my 95. It ended up being the EGR valve. There was a chunk of carbon stuck in it.
Hope this helps.
