Default Idles norm no power in passing gear

I just bought a 1998 2 door blazer 4.3 4x4. i just finished the transplant of a same year 4.3 while the engine was out i R&R the intake gaskets with the fel-pro. To make a long story short it runs mint at idle and nomal light footed driving but when you nail it it kicks down but lacks power big time. no codes no service engine light??? ANY IDEAS i am about out i think its a vac leak but i am not sure of all the equip that uses it to trace. or even fuel i have hear alot of the spider whats the fuel PSI range also?? any input would be great!

I would check the psi at the check valve near the fire wall for fuel pressure, I believe the range is 60 psi to about 55!! Also something else you could do is run fuel system cleaner and higher octane gas through the system to see if that helps!!

Problem is when the original author has not logged in in close to a year... Not likely that you will get a response out of such an old thread.
