If the ticking is caused by a collapsed lifter or a wiped cam lobe, it could cause a misfire and rough running.

could it be possible if the fuel filter is clogged up
may cause it to run rough? cause the fuel pump(brand new)
was whining or buzzing(laboring) the other day.

Having a fuel pressure tester installed while you are experiencing the problem would tell you if it is or not. If there is sufficient pressure, then the problem is not with the pump.

Default rich condition

I'm new to this forum, and I have a 95 S10 thats been intermittently flashining SES light, scanner says rich condition, in the last year I've replace the following spider injecter, plugs, O2's, dist cap and rotor. I just checked the plugs again, and the ones on the driver side are the ones getting fouled, on some previous post I read something about replacing the fuel lines on the inside of the pleneum, I'm not sure any advice?
Thanks
