ok here we go. ive seen some threads on similar symptoms but not exactly. sorry if my answer is out there i just havent found it in 3 days of searching. i have a 1996 chev blazer 2 door 4x4. it only starts if im boosting it. battery is brand spanking new. when i do have jumper cables hooked up it will only start when the other vehicle is reved and even then it turns over very laboured. but it does start and runs like a charm when started. i have driven it for 3 hours home and when i got home i turned it off and it still wont turn over unless boosted. i have taken the starter out and am getting it tested but dont have the results yet. i just have no idea what the heck the problem could be. if theres any help out there i would appreciate it! thanks a bunch.

 

anyone? starter testing came back saying it was good. wiring maybe? may replace the positive cable nest?
