Default Low idle

Recently changed my fuel pump and the idle speed is at about 600 but drops slightly when revved. Also hard to start when cold. Ive changed the fuel filter a couple months ago. the iac valve shows that it is working. Not sure what is wrong there are no codes either.

600 is normal, what do you mean drops slightly when revved?

Before I changed it the idle was at 700 maybe a little higher and it doesn't like to start when cold

700 maybe even a little higher is "higher" so to speak compared to normal for these things.
Every one that i have had idles around 600, and there have been people who have asked the same question as you about it being around 600 and they are told the same thing.

As for the hard start when cold, Do a fuel pressure and leak down test and let us know your results.

Key on, engine off, tell us the initial pressure and then what it drops to after 5 minutes.
