Default Low power?

This '96 Blazer is the only 4.3 I've owned. It's newly rebuilt with about 10k miles on it. It seems gutless. It kicks off the line, but accelerating from 50-60 mph seems like an exercise in patience. Is it really running with enough oomph?

It's also setting an engine code: P0147. Apparently that's a Bank 1, Sensor 3 heater circuit malfunction. I've already replaced the O2 sensor down by the catalytic converter, but the code's still setting. And it seems like that O2 sensor shouldn't affect the power. Right?

So I'm open to suggestions. BTW, this is a 4-door 4WD, auto transmission. The transmission blew up a few hundred miles ago. This is a Mr. Goodwrench replacement donated by a victim of the clunker program a couple of years ago.

An 02 sensor can effect power. It tells the computer to richen up or lean out the fuel.

NORMALLY if one O2 sensor is out, they are all going out. consider replacing all of them over time. what does it do when you mash the pedal when you are doing 50ish? does it bog out or downshift?
