I have a 04' Envoy with a intermittent engine miss...bad idle and at 2000rpm kinda thing but then it's good for days....?????

Start by cleaning the MAF (mass air flow) sensor if you have a 4.3 v6. If you have the 4.2 I6 clean the throttle body. Need a little more info on your truck.
