My 02' ZR2's throttle cuts out at 150kmh.

Almost all vehicles have a speed limiter. It just depends on the vehicle where it is. Some are between 150 and 160km/h, others higher. You can change it with a decent programmer, but in my opinion driving that fast in a tippy SUV is not a very bright idea. Especially in BC where you can get you vehicle impounded on the spot for going 50 over the limit.

I've only got one question.
How old are you Tony?
I'm not asking because you evidently like to drive fast. I did the same thing more times than I care to admit when I was younger. I only ask because you do not know about the speed governors that have placed on vehicles for more than the past 30 years.
Very few vehicles in the past 30+ years do not have governors on them. For the most these have been the sports cars. Even a number of them have been limited.

My neighborhood veteran mechanic, didn't know about them being on Blazers...........either. He's a smart mechanic.
I've never owned a vehicle with a speed governor before. My last vehicles were a 90' Olds Ninety Eight, and 91' Cavalier. So why should I know about a speed governor on my Blazer, when the guy I bought it from didn't tell me?
