Default My '84 (M1009 version) transmission grinds

I have a '84 Blazer M1009 (military issue) and the transmission is grinding when I take my foot off the throttle. It is also sticking badly when trying to go from 2nd to 3rd gear(its an automatic). Ive changed the fluid and put a bottle of treatment in which helped the problem for a week or so then it went right back to stickin and grinding.
Can someone please steer me in the right direction. This is my everday vehicle not just a weekend project, and if I lose my truck to breaking completely down I'll be out of a job too.
