Default My Blazer loves 1500 RPMs. HELP!!!

when driving my 2001 4.3l blazer, it tends to stay at 1500 rpms until I give it more than 2000 rpms worth of throttle. once I get up to speed when its idealing below 2000 rpms it automatically sticks around 1500rpms until I can break it free. it feels lacking of power almost as if it shifted into a higher gear than needed. it feels I do not have consistent power meaning it feels underpowered at 1500 rpms until I either give enough throttle that it either shifts or breaks free of 1500 rpms. ive added seafoam to a half tank of fuel and it ran just fine for 50 miles with consistent power through out throttle. after around 50 miles tho it went right back to normal. im not too fluent in cars mechanics but I know a little bit and I want to say as if its not letting in enough air as needed. almost as if the injectors are spraying like normal but feels like the throttle body is staying shut or at least sticking. ive had rare instances where my rpms jump up and down and the vehicle will keep jumping while backfiring and then shutting off. ive read that many people had a similar issue like that and it ended up being an Air intake control valve. I do not know if this is the main issue but I feel I had to include this incase this was needed for prior knowledge.

p.s. recently my steering has started to make a really lowed whining sound when turning and I can hear a high pitch noice that stays consistent with the throttle. these 2 sounds came around the same time and im curious to what they are

steering whine consistent with RPMs is the power steering pump. first check your power steering reservoir for enough fluid and watch the pump to see if it leaks under pressure. check your Spider injector set, these are knownn to go bad and create fuel delivery problems.

I reread your post and missed the idle air control valve IAC valve point. definitely check that and PCV valve as well. on an old TBI 4.3 in my 91 S10 I had to replace both because of under power issues. then all my vacuum lines rotted and I was back to square one LOL the seafoam temporary fix makes me feel like it's fuel delivery though.
