its not the throttle injected. you have the "spider"
tbi (throttle body injection) has 2 round large injectors over the throttle body.

 

so for sure i need a 96-99 motor with spider injected. its not tuned port injected though right?

 

correct. its not tpi. 96ish to 99 is what i would look for. im guessing you blew your motor eh? not fun.

 

yes first the tranny went. 2 weeks later the motor...... not having a good month.
