If this is the wrong place to post this I apologize, still learning my way around. I noticed a box hanging down right behind my driver rear wheel today I was hoping someone could identify for me. There are lines marked as fuel going into it. Previous owner apparently taped it as a quick fix. I'm going to remount it but I'd just like to know what it is. Thanks!

It's a charcoal canister used as part of the evap system on the vehicle.
