Hi new to this sight and looking for help on this issue I just change fuel pump and got the 95 jimmy sl 4.3 running now when I go to back up it seems like it wont go then it will only if I put the gas peddle to the floor OR after driving it for a a while it seems to work fine Please any help or what I can look at to solve issue Thanks.

Hi there ty for the reply the filter was change about three month ago if your refuring to the fuel filter the tranny filter was done around the same time not sure what other fluid I can check tranny fluid is on the marks oil is on the marks as well I just took the wife to work and it worked fine BUT!!!! before I could barly back it out on the driveway after getting home I and no problem backing out GRRRRRRRR whats up with that thanks.Ps forgot to mention theres no fluids leaking anywhere as I would see it in the snow and don't see any heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp lol

 

Runs fine cold then acts up when at temp classic signs of an ignition module.

Changing out a fuel pump can stir the crap in the bottom of the tank up. Even if it was swapped a few months ago I'd suggest changing it, also swap in after a few tanks of gas.

 

try lifting the back up and rotating the tire by hand. ive had drum brakes lock in reverse only on me.
