New Fuel Pump Issue. Help
#1
I needed a new fuel pump for my 97 Bravada. It Is a delphi fg0071. Followed the directions installed the new harness and put everything back whereit belongs. The issue im having is that the center line keeps coming off. I am pretty sure that is just the vapor line as it didn't have a clip when I removed it. Problem is fuel is being dumped from it when the line pops. I have checked and it is the middle line. Today I started it up but noticed the fuel pump stayed on and then the line popped dumping fuel everywhere. What the hell is going on?

I need to replace the fuel pump on my blazer also. looked on youtube and saw a guy changing his. HIS fuel pump had 3 lines coming out of the top of the fuel pump assembly.
ALL 3 had clips on it. maybe your was just missing? still on old pump? try a small clamp?

they do all three have clips the middle line is a vapor line if its just a clip you need you could probably just find that at a junk yard hell I have on settin out to bad shipping is a pain as if that don't work you may have to get a whole line if your actual line may be broke (they are friggin plastic) so if you cant get the clip or whole from a junkyard well that would be a dealer item as it is formed hose for that purpose...good luck no idea why it would shooting fuel out the vapor line
